James Andrew McDonaugh is a judge of the Suffolk County District Court in New York. He was appointed in 2012 and elected in 2013, and his current six-year term expires in 2018.[1]

Education

McDonaugh received an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 1991, going on to receive a J.D. from the University of Memphis in 1994.[2]

Career

2012 election

McDonaugh ran for the Suffolk County District Court in 2012. He was defeated by Derrick J. Robinson in the general election on November 6, receiving 49.71 percent of the vote.[3][4]
