David Porter is a district judge of Iowa District 5C. He was appointed to this position in 2015. Porter was retained in the general election on November 8, 2016.[1]

Biography

Porter received an undergraduate degree in criminology and communications from the University of Maryland and a J.D. from Drake University.[1]

Before he was appointed to the bench in 2015, he served as an assistant Wapello County attorney and an assistant Polk County attorney.[1]
