A Scappoose Fire District Levy Renewal measure was on the May 17, 2011 ballot in the Scappoose fire district area which is in Columbia and Multnomah Counties.
This measure was approved in both counties.
Columbia
- YES 1,791 (62.4%)
- NO 1,079 (37.6%)[1]
Multnomah
- YES 136 (73.51%)
- NO 49 (26.49%)[2]
This measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $.94 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for continued emergency services in the district[3]
