Larry Campbell is a former Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 26. He was first appointed to the chamber in 2012. Campbell left office in February, 2018, after Gov. Jeff Colyer (R) appointed him as state budget director.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Cheron Tiffany was unopposed in the Democratic primary.
