Michael King was a Democrat who represented District 4 on the Clayton County Board of Education in Georgia. He defeated challenger Kithya "Ya" Kim in the primary election on May 20, 2014. He ran unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.
King passed away in January 2018.[1]

Since all Democratic incumbents won the primary election on May 20, 2014, and there were no Republican challengers to face them, they were all running unopposed. They were Pamela Adamson in District 1, Michael King in District 4, Alieka Anderson in District 8 and Charlton L. Bivins in District 9.
