John T. Wallace is a judge on the Hocking County Court of Common Pleas for both the general and domestic relations divisions in Logan, Ohio. He was appointed to the court by Governor John Kasich in July 2011 and was elected to the court in November 2012 to a term that expired on January 1, 2019.[1] He retired from the court on March 31, 2022.[2]

Education

Wallace received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University.[1]

Career

From 2006 to 2011, Wallace was a judge on the Hocking County Municipal Court.[3][1]

2012 election

Wallace was elected to the Hocking County Court of Common Pleas. He defeated Charlie Gerken in the general election on November 6, winning 65.64% of the vote.[4]
