Gary Sanderson was the Democratic judge of 60th District Court in Texas. First elected in 1981, he won his last four-year term in the general election on November 6, 2012. In September 2015, he announced he would not seek election to another term in the following year. His retirement took effect at the end of 2016.[1][2]

Biography

Sanderson received an undergraduate degree from Lamar University and a J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law. Prior to his judicial election, he worked in private practice and as a district attorney.[1]
