John D. Crigler was the chief judge of the 6th Judicial District in Louisiana.[1] He retired from the bench on March 7, 2019.[2]

Crigler ran for re-election to the 6th Judicial District. As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.[3]

Education

Crigler received his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from Louisiana State University. He was admitted to the practice of law in 1977.[4]
