Fred R. Dollison was a judge for the Sixth Circuit Court of Crook and Weston counties in Wyoming. He was appointed by former Governor Jim Geringer in July of 2002, effective the following month. He was retained in 2004, 2008 and 2012.[1][2] Dollison passed away on February 10, 2014.[3]

Education

Dollison received his associate degree from Sheridan College in 1975, his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Wyoming in 1977 and his J.D. degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1980.[4]

Career

Dollison worked as a private practice attorney in Sheridan, Wyoming from 1980 until his judicial appointment in 2002. Additionally, he was a magistrate of the Circuit Court from 1986 to 2002. He has also served as the attorney for Sheridan County's School District #2, as a commissioner for the Sheridan County Court.[1]

Military service

From 1967 to 1973, Dollison served in the United States Navy.
