Francisca P. Tisher was a judge for the Superior Court of Napa County in California.[1] She was appointed by Governor Pete Wilson in 1995.[2] She most recently won re-election to a six-year term in 2014.[3] Tisher retired from the court on June 17, 2017.[4]

As an unopposed incumbent, she was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [3] 

Education

Tisher received her B.A. from UC Davis and her J.D. from Empire College School of Law.[2]

Career

Tisher was appointed to the Superior Court of Napa County by Governor Pete Wilson in 1995 and served as the presiding judge from 2006-2008. Before working for the court, she was an attorney for the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office and engaged in private practice in Napa, California.[2]
