Toko Serita is a judge for the New York City Criminal Court in Queens County, New York. She was appointed in October of 2005 and was reappointed in January of 2007 and January of 2009.[1][2][3]
Education
Serita received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her J.D. degree from the City University of New York Law School.[1][2]
Career
Serita worked with the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Appeals Bureau, from 1989 through 1999. Since then, she has served in various capacities in the New York court system. Prior to her judicial appointment, she was the Executive Assistant to the Administrative Judge of the Queens County Supreme Court.<[2]
