Nelson Wesley Phillips, III‎ was a judge for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, Division 17, in Wisconsin.[1][2] He was defeated by Carolina Maria Stark in the April 3, 2012 Election.[3]

Judge Phillips ran unsuccessfully for re-election to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court. He was successful in the primary, but lost to Carolina Maria Stark in the April 3rd election.[3][4][5]

Education

Judge Phillips received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from UW Law School.[2]

Career

Phillips served as a prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He worked as an assistant district attorney for Milwaukee County, and before his 2011 appointment he worked in private practice.[2]
