William K. Kendall is a judge for the Third District of the Utah District Courts in Utah. He was appointed to the court by Governor Gary Herbert on December 15, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Robin W. Reese. Kendall was confirmed by the Utah State Senate on January 14, 2015.[1][2]
Education
Kendall received his undergraduate degree from Miami University and his J.D. degree from the University of Richmond.[3]
Career
Before his appointment to the Third District, Kendall served as an assistant U.S. attorney, as the deputy chief of the violent crimes section, and as the anti-gang and robbery coordinator for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Utah. He also previously served as the deputy district attorney for Salt Lake County from 2000 to 2007.[2]
