Fa’amomoi Masaniai is a judge for Southwest Division of the King County District Court in Washington. He assumed office in 2021. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Masaniai ran for re-election for the Southwest Division judge of the King County District Court in Washington. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Masaniai is a former federal appointed independent prosecutor whom the High Court in American Samoa assigned to prosecute human trafficking, fraudulent immigration matters and public corruption in American Samoa. He also has experience in criminal defense. Prior to his 2021 appointment, he served as a pro tem judge in numerous municipal courts in King and Pierce counties.[1]
