A Hillsborough County Business Tax Exemption measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Hillsborough County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 186,195 (63.93%)Approveda
  • NO 105,043 (36.07%)[1]

This measure sought to allow property tax exemptions to new or expanding businesses which come to the county. County officials hope that this measure would encourage new businesses to relocate and add jobs for residents.[2]
