The Idaho Sobriety Act, also known as Initiative 3, was on the November 5, 1946 ballot in Idaho as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have banned liquor advertising, set a maximum amount of liquor that can be purchased or possessed by individuals, and prohibited the sale of liquor at bars and clubs.[1][2]
