West Virginia: Yesterday's primary election saw two contested Circuit Court races and two Magistrate Court races.

  • In Cabell County, the Magistrate Court race field has been narrowed from nine to two candidates. Dan Goheen will run as the Democratic nominee in November, while Paul Harvey will be his Republican contender.[5][6][7]
  • Results for the Mercer County Magistrate Court race have not yet been posted.
