The North Dakota Industrial Commission Referendum, also known as House Bill 17, was on the June 26, 1919 ballot in North Dakota as a veto referendum, where it was approved.[1] The measure created the North Dakota Industrial Commission which was empowered to conduct commerce on the behalf of the state. The commission was comprised of the governor, attorney general and commissioner of agriculture.[2]
