Primary: She was successful in the primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 27.59 percent of the vote. She competed against Daniel A. Flores and Kimberly Toney Williams.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 40.3 percent of the vote. She competed against Daniel A. Flores. [1][2]

Kingsley earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University Law School.[3]

Career

Kingsley works as a mediator. Prior to that she was a lawyer in private practice.[3]
