Perry L. Bond ran for election to the Memphis City Council to represent District 6 in Tennessee. Bond lost in the general election on October 3, 2019.
Bond was a 2015 candidate for the same seat.
Biography
Bond graduated from Carver High School, going on to receive an associate degree in business management from Southwest Tennessee Community College. Though retired, he has experience as a currency room teller for Brinks Corp., a realtor and a community college math paraprofessional.[1]

The city of Memphis, Tennessee, held elections for mayor and city council on October 8, 2015. A runoff, if necessary, would have taken place on November 19, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was July 17, 2015.[2] In the District 6 race, incumbent Edmund Ford, Jr. defeated Perry L. Bond and Delvin Lane in the general election on October 8, 2015.[3]
