Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a Constitutional Conservative who is running for South Carolina's First Congressional District to advance the principle of liberty for my constituents and the nation at large.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• I believe in Liberty for all citizens of the United States.
• I believe in a balanced Federal budget.
• I believe that our Rights are given by our Creator and must not be infringed by would be tyrants.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

The 2nd Amendment, taxes and spending, freedom/liberty.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Honesty and integrity, duty to country and the Constitution, and standing for one's principles at all times.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Upholding and being the servant of the Constitution and one's constituency.

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

I believe that is beneficial, but experience, or lack thereof, should not be a determining factor. We all have to start somewhere, and that somewhere should be a place where you're passionate about the issues at hand.

What do you perceive to be the United States’ greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

The greatest challenge facing America today is the divide between political ideologies. We must find common ground and focus on where we agree rather than on where we disagree.

Do you believe that two years is the right term length for representatives?

Simply put, yes.

What are your thoughts on term limits?

We should have term limits for Congress. I propose that members in either chamber should serve no more than 20 years.

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

Whether or not compromise is necessary or distance depends heavily on the topic at hand. There should never be compromise when it comes to individual rights.

The Constitution says that all bills for raising revenue must originate in the House. What role would this power play in your priorities if elected?

I think taxes are already too high; therefore, my vote against raising taxes may have more of an impact.
