Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 6.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Stacey D. Biel, Gary McDaniel, Connie Lee Johnston, Mike R. Fauteaux, Patrick R. Otero, and Brent D. Byrum.
