- "Our community is a great place to live. Many of the things that make it great require a demand for services. Our mature homes and infrastructure necessitate the need for upkeep. I believe in maintaining the quality of our neighborhoods."

Elections for the Kansas House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Don McGuire defeated Arthena Easterwood in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Amanda Grosserode defeated Jameia Haines and Ray Marshall in the Republican primary. Grosserode defeated McGuire in the general election.[2][3]
