Tax Cannabis 2010 was the official advocacy group for the California Marijuana Legalization Initiative (2010).

Richard Lee, the executive director of Oaksterdam University, helped start Tax Cannabis 2010. Oaksterdam University was "a major medical marijuana dispensary and advocacy group" based in Oakland.[1]
