LaMont Jacobson is a judge for the Marathon County Circuit Court in Wisconsin.[1] He was appointed by Governor Scott Walker on March 28, 2013.[2] He ran for election in 2014 to the Marathon County Circuit Court and was elected for a term that will expire in 2020.[3][4]

Education

Jacobson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1976 and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law in 1979.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Jacobson worked as an assistant district attorney in Marathon County since 1989. He has also worked as an assistant district attorney in Dunn County and as a district attorney and family court commissioner in Vernon County.[2]
