Miguel de la Carrera is a judge on the Vicinage 11 Superior Court in New Jersey. He serves on the Family Part.[1] He is currently temporarily assigned to Essex County. De la Carrera was appointed by Acting Governor Donald DiFrancesco in 2002, and he obtained tenured status in 2009. He will now serve on the bench until he reaches 70 years of age in 2025.[2][3]

De la Carrera received his undergraduate degree from Yale College in 1977 and his J.D. from Columbia University in 1982.[4]
