Wendell P. Gardner, Jr. was an associate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He was appointed to the court by President George H.W. Bush in 1991.

Education

Gardner received his undergraduate degree from Howard University in 1969, a Master of Business Administration from Washington University (St. Louis) in 1971 and his J.D. from Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of American in 1976. Prior to earning his J.D., Gardner taught Business Administration at Florissant Valley Community College.
