Joseph H. Goldberg is a judge trial referee on the New London District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] He has served in this role since 2002, before which he was a judge on the court.[2]

Education

Goldberg received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.[2]

Career

Goldberg began his career as an assistant prosecutor in Norwich City Court in 1953. He then served on the Norwich City Council from 1955 to 1957 and in the state senate from 1957 to 1959. Goldberg was initially appointed to the judiciary in 1973, first to the circuit court. He then moved to the court of common pleas and later to the New London District Superior Court, where he served from 1978 to 2002, at which time he became a judge trial referee.[2]
