William M. Stewart (August 9, 1827 – April 23, 1909), was a member of the U.S. Senate from the state of Nevada from 1865-1875 and 1887-1905. He served as a Republican until switching to the Silver Party in 1893. He switched back to Republican in 1901.[1]
