Michael Paul Jergins
Michael Paul Jergins was a judge of the 395th District Court in Texas. Jergins was appointed to the bench by former Gov. George W. Bush (later President Bush) in 2000 and was re-elected on November 6, 2012.[1]
On July 7, 2015, Jergins announced his plans to retire. He served until the end of his term in 2016.[2]
Education
Jergins received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.[1]
Career
Jergins has been judge of Texas District 395 since 2000. Prior to that, he was in private practice. He has also served as assistant district attorney for Tarrant County, an assistant United States attorney, and a prosecutor with Williamson County District Attorney's Office.[1]
2012 election
Jergins was re-elected without opposition to the 395th District Court.[3]
