Tony W. Stansberry is a judge for the Knox County General Sessions Court Division V in Knox County, Tennessee. He is based in the City of Knoxville. Stansberry first joined the court in 1995 and was elected to a full term in 1996.[1] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires on August 31, 2022.[2][3]

Education
Stansberry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1979 and his J.D. degree from the George C. Taylor School of Law in 1984.[1]
Career
Stansberry began his career as a law clerk for the Knox County District Attorney's Office in 1983. He later became an assistant district attorney at that office. In 1994, Stansberry became a supervising attorney for the Law Offices of Peter Angelos. He held that position until he joined the Knox County General Sessions Court in August 1995.[1]
