David S. Richmond was a assistant presiding judge for the Superior Court of Amador County in California. His term expired in December 2012.

2012 election

In March 2011, prosecutor Steve Hermanson already announced that he will challenge the incumbent judge. When asked about the announcement, Richmond only replied, "Ambitious."
