Mark J. Eveloff is a district judge of the Fourth District of Iowa.[1] He was appointed to this position in October of 2010 to replace retired Judge Charles L. Smith, II, and his current term expires in 2018.[2]

Education

Eveloff was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 1971 and his law degree from Creighton University in 1974.[1]

Career

Eveloff has worked as an assistant Des Moines City attorney and as an assistant Polk County attorney. He worked as a private practice lawyer with a firm from 1983 through 1995. He was then appointed to the Fourth District as a district associate judge in January of 1996.[1]

2012 election

Eveloff was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 68.47% of the vote.[3][4]
