Mallory Cooper is a former judge of the Fourth Circuit Court in Florida. She was appointed to this position by former Governor Jeb Bush (R) in January of 2006.[1][2] Cooper retired on December 18, 2015, due to the state's mandatory retirement age of 70.[3]

Education

Cooper received her undergraduate degree from Winthrop University. She then received her J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law in 1986.[1][4]

Career

Cooper began her career as an assistant state attorney in 1987. She worked in that position through 1996. During that time, she served as juvenile division chief and in the Special Assault Unit, among other positions. She then became a judge of the Duval County Court in 1997. She was appointed to the circuit court in January of 2006.[1][5]
