Timothy J. Walker is an acting justice of the Erie County Supreme Court in the 8th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to this position in 2007. He has also served as a judge of the New York Court of Claims since 2007.[1]

Education

Walker received his B.S. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1985 and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo in 1988.[1]

Career

Walker began his career in 1988 as an associate of the firm Moot & Sprague. He then practiced as an associate for Philips, Lytle, LLP from 1990 to 1991 and for Hiscock & Barclay, LLP from 1991 to 1995. For the next ten years, he worked as a partner of Hiscock & Barclay.

Walker began his judicial career in 2006 as a supreme court justice of the 8th Judicial District. In 2007, he was appointed a judge of the New York Court of Claims and an acting justice of the Erie County Supreme Court.[1]
