James H. Martinek

James H. Martinek is a magistrate judge of the Sixth District of Iowa. He was appointed to this position on August 1, 2005.[1]

Biography and Education

Martinek received his bachelor's and law degrees from the University of Iowa. He is now married and has two children.[1]

Career

Martinek began his legal career in 1979. Since then he has worked as a private practice lawyer, a legal aid attorney, and an assistant county attorney.[1]
