Guy R. Humphrey is a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Southern District of Ohio. He was appointed as a judge for the Southern District of Ohio on October 2, 2007.[1]

Education

Judge Humphrey graduated in 1981 from Kent State University with his bachelor's degree and in 1984 he graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law with his J.D.[2][1]

Career

Humphrey was a partner with Chester Willcox & Saxbe LLP in Columbus, Ohio, practicing in the areas of debtor-creditor law, bankruptcy representation, receivership, and litigation, representing a variety of clients, including individual debtors, business debtors, secured creditors, unsecured creditors, committees, and purchasers of assets from financial institutions and bankruptcy estates.[1]
