Note: At the time of the Democratic primary, three seats on the Buffalo City Court were up for election.[1] A vacancy on the city court opened up after Judge Debra L. Givens was appointed to the New York Court of Claims.[2] As a result, four seats on the court were up for election in November 2021. Carrie Phillips, whose name didn’t appear on the primary ballot, was endorsed by the Democratic Party on June 30, 2021, and qualified for the general election ballot.[3]
