Zenovia Gallagher joined Ballotpedia’s State Desk as a staff writer in November 2015.

Prior to joining the Ballotpedia team, she reported for The Arizona Republic under the Dow Jones News Fund program. She also worked as a freelance writer and photographer.

Zenovia has a bachelor’s degree in communications with concentrations in broadcasting and political science from the University of Miami, and a master’s degree in journalism from Temple University.

She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and a courageous shih-tzu pup.
