Krauthamer investiture to Superior Court

April 15, 2012

Washington, D.C.: Peter Arno Krauthamer will be invested onto the District of Columbia Superior Court on April 20, 2012. He was nominated to the court by Barack Obama[1] in July of 2011 and confirmed by the Senate in November of 2011.[2]

Krauthamer earned his B.A. from Brandeis University in 1979, and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 1982.

Prior to his appointment to the court, he has served as an attorney with various agencies in the DC area. Most recently, Krauthamer was the Deputy Director of the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

He is married with two children.[3]
