George R. Currie (1900-1983) was a justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court from 1951-1968. He also served as the court's Chief Justice from 1964-1968.[1] Currie is one of very few Wisconsin Supreme Court justices who was unseated in a bid for re-election, losing in 1967.[2]
