Margaret Holden Palmietto
Margaret Holden Palmietto is an associate judge on the 31st Judicial Circuit Court in Missouri. She was appointed by Governor Jay Nixon (D) on November 5, 2015. She replaced Judge Jason R. Brown, who was appointed to be a circuit judge.[1]
Education
Holden received a bachelor's degree from Missouri State University and a J.D. from the University of Missouri.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the circuit court, Holden was the chief administrative law judge in the Springfield Adjudication Office of the Missouri Division of Workers’ Compensation. She became an administrative law judge in 1994, and served as chief judge from 1994 to 2006 and from 2009 to 2015. She previously worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Greene County and as an attorney in private practice.[1]
