Arch W. McGarity
Arch W. McGarity was a judge of the Flint Circuit of Georgia.[1] He was in first appointed in 1995 by Governor Zell Miller and retired in September 2018.[2]
Education
McGarity received his B.B.A. from the University of Georgia and his J.D. from Mercer University.[3]
Career
- 1995-2018: Judge, Flint Judicial Circuit, Georgia
- 1988-1995: Attorney, sole practitioner
- 1978-1988: Attorney, Harrison and McGarity[4]
2012 election
McGarity ran unopposed for re-election to the Flint Superior Court.[5] He was re-elected after receiving 99.6 percent of the vote in the July 31 election.[6]
