Monique Scott is a member of the Chicago City Council in Illinois, representing Ward 24. She assumed office on June 24, 2022. Her current term ends on May 17, 2027.

Scott ran for re-election to the Chicago City Council to represent Ward 24 in Illinois. She won in the general runoff election on April 4, 2023.

Biography

Scott received her bachelor's degree from Jackson State University and a master's degree from National Louis University. She worked as a health consultant with North Lawndale Christian Health Center for 14 years. She then began working for the Chicago Park District, where she was Park Supervisor of Recreation for Ellis Park directly prior to her appointment to the City Council.[1][2]
