Denise Fears is a founding partner and manager of Fears Case-Harmon & Assoc, LLC, an accounting firm. Fears is married to her husband and they have three children. Fears earned her Bachelor's degree from Graceland University.[1]

Jackson County is home to 679,996 residents, according to the United States Census Bureau.[3] In the 2011-2012 school year, Independence School District was the 12th-largest school district in Missouri and served 14,764 students.[4]
