Heather Dickinson is a magistrate judge of the Fifth District of Iowa. She was appointed to this position on August 1, 2005 to serve Polk County.[1]

Education

Dickinson received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College in 1981 and her law degree from Drake University in 1984. She then attended the London School of Economics. She is now married and has two children.[1]

Career

Dickinson has worked as legal counsel for a bank, as an assistant county attorney and as a private practice lawyer. She continues to work as a private practice lawyer in Des Moines.[1]
