Schneider defeated Keith Branch in the general election, winning 57% of the vote.[3]

Schneider received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law.[4]

Career

Prior to assuming the bench, Schneider was the chief civil prosecutor for juvenile cases in the Harris County Attorney's Office. His cases dealt with parents or guardians of abused and neglected children.[4]
