Collapse all
|- Independence is critical. By staying independent of the major sources of money and power shaping our schools, I can ensure that the only people I will be beholden to are my constituents.
- Experience makes a difference. I have worked for many years in education, as both a teacher and administrator. I know what makes a school excellent and what doesn’t.
- Equity informs all that I do. CPS operates a profoundly unequal system that leaves many kids and families out. Every Chicago community must have a school worthy of its students. I will do everything in my power to ensure this becomes a reality.
