Chris Girdler is a former Republican member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 15 from 2013 to 2017. Girdler did not seek re-election to the state Senate in 2016. Girdler's seat was won by his uncle, Rick Girdler (R), in 2016.

Rick Girdler defeated Don Moss, Michael Keck and Joshua Nichols in the Kentucky State Senate District 15 Republican primary.[1]

Girdler won election in the 2012 election for Kentucky State Senate District 15. He defeated A.C. Donahue, Todd Hoskins, Joe E. Laswell, Dennis Mitchell and Mark F. Polston in the primary on May 22, 2012, and was unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
