Elaine Sena Cortez (Republican Party) is a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing District 62. She assumed office on January 1, 2025. Her current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Sena Cortez (Republican Party) ran for election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 62. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Elaine Sena Cortez was born in Roswell, New Mexico. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of the Southwest in 2006, a graduate degree from Eastern New Mexico University in 2012, and a doctorate from the University of the Southwest. Her career experience includes working as a business owner and professor. She is a member of King's Gate Church.[1]
